Yes part of it for sure. I would think equipment now would last longer too?
- AGalchenyuk27

Probably, and there isn't a really big difference between each year's equipment...I mean I wouldn't pay 400$ every year to maybe gain 2-5 yards on my drive. Plus you get used to your clubs so every time you change you need time to adapt to your new ones.

Most golf courses are seeing a decrease in attendance this year. I guess people are more careful how they spend disposable income.

One or 2 rounds a Summer is all I need. I would rather fish, canoe or kayak.

Probably, and people probably have less time. A game of golf is really (frank)ing long...

Lol, and most people play it once in a while just for fun. They don't need this year's driver at 400$ or this year's new set of irons at over 1000$...they'll buy a used set or a new set from the previous years and pay 1/3 the price.

And an hour more if you're playing behind a group of 60-70 year olds

Faced with a decline in the golf equipment industry, Richard's Sporting Goods, the largest retailer in the United States of TaylorMade and Callaway products, fired all the PGA professionals that it employed in the golf sections of its more than 560 stores.

Thought Golf was growing? Guess not as I read it.

$300 drivers a year ago now $99

- AGalchenyuk27

Golftown should do the same and fire their CPGA experts. The most worthless thing at a golf store. They know absolutely nothing.

I'll be honest, I haven't seen him in many, many years and wasn't close. But he was a always-smiling super nice guy. I remember him for helping me dealing with my parents' divorce, when I moved to another school+city+region. He dealt with all the bullies to help me integrate.

Cheers, Yohann.

This^

I just changed my 8 year old clubs. The whole set. Driver, 3 wood, hybrids were at lease 1/2 price.
The only thing I paid full were the Irons because Muzino never lowers their price and I've been drooling over MP54s since they came out.
