I think so. Although except Pacioretty there aren't a lot of finishers on that team. You could consider Bourque in that category also but he hasn't shown a lot yet (except last year's playoffs). - BashCH
Galchenyuk should pop 25 this year. |

We're all hoping for it. But he'll need to shoot more if he wants to do that...he's looking for the pass far too often. |

True enough. Then again they were pretty much handcuffed. |

any team that trades a superstar in his prime is handcuffed. and the fact that you have to back more than 20 years to find a situation where the team moving the player got a great return kills your entire theory.
and assuming that Colorado wouldn't have won those Cups without that trade isn't a given. their top-2 centres would have Sakic-Lindros in their prime. |

I know Subban wants to and should get paid but that extra million or two a season could prevent him from winning the cup. |

Forsberg is my all-time favorite. But I remember seeing Lindros in Ottawa in a PHI-OTT game and for each and every Lindros shift, there was a fear vibe in the whole arena, something I never watched anywhere else in any sport. He was dominating. |

yeah that's kind of my point. and the difference between a guy like Lindros and Forsberg. when teams played Philly, Lindros was the focal point. he was the guy who terrified you and who you knew you couldn't stop. |

I guess, but every time Forsberg was in the playoffs he scared the (frank) out of teams. |

Injuries wrecked Lindros more than Forsberg I'd say. Put Sakic on Lindros's team and see what he would have done. |
