I spent 10 years living in Calgary and I was so thankful to finally get the hell out of it. I would never ever consider moving back there.

It has it's good points. It's nice, but the culture in this is (frank)ed. Everyone in this town acts like it's Beverly Hills and they buy these stupid expensive POS houses next to a man made lake and have 3 cars....all financed to the gills.

Edmonton is grittier, for sure, but the people are way more down to earth as a whole, I find.
