I don't get why people don't understand that.
The only think I am left wondering, is who is going to play center? Ennis, Girgensons, Mitchell (4th line) and who? - ImNoTroll
Here is my guess
Ennis - 1st line
Girgenson - 2nd line
Mitchell - 3rd line
Larsson - 4th line
Mitchell and Larsson are interchangeable.
That is if they send Reinhart back to junior |

Decent guesses, I'm fine with those, though I might rather have Adam get his "final" shot. Is Mitchell waiver eligible, or can he move freely? If he can go freely, then I'd rather see Adam at 3rd C |

Rochester moved Adam to the wing last year . I think he believes he has a better shot at the NHL there. . I don't think Mitchell is eligible to go down without clearing waivers. |

Trade Myers & Stafford to DET, for for Nyquist & Tatar..?
Moulson/Ennis/Nyquist
Hodgson/Girgensons/Stewart
Tatar/Reinhart/Gionta
Delauriers/Foligno/Kaleta
(McCormick - Healthy scratch) - SuperCat
What's our defense look like then?
And does that get us too good too fast
IMO, McDavid/Eichel are worth another poopty year

Some folks just don't get that . They want mediocrity now , rather than long term success.

Thought they did the opposite and moved him from wing to center?? hmmm...could have sworn I read (and posted) an article quoting Cassidy about how Adam really adjusted well to center |

Meh, that doesn't mean much. Sabres.com has him as a center.
EDIT:
FWIW, I found my post from last year where I had pulled in a bunch of quotes from a WGR article and this was part of it:
"When Lindy Ruff was fired, Porter went up to the NHL along with the Amerks' coach Ron Rolston. The move opened up the top center spot and removed the coach who had taken Adam's confidence behind a shed and shot it. The coach who had embarrassed him by making the young center a healthy scratch the game after he returned from All-Star Weekend. The coach who had more or less said "don't let the door hit you" following Adam's demotion."
"Now the former second-round draft pick is the Amerks' No. 1 center. And the guy who won AHL Rookie of the Year is back. Give credit to the not-so walk-it-off style of current Amerks coach Chadd Cassidy, who has probably figured out that Adam would rather have a coach who gives him support rather than tearing him down.
But someone then posting something opposite that the next day and quoted an article somewhere, so it was confusing.

Reinhart.
While there are zero guarantees, the fact remains that we could (even though I, personally, think we're going to be better than last year) finish bottom two and get the chance to draft McEichel.
For all you who think that Reinhart should go back to junior, should we dare insert TWO rookie centermen into the lineup next season? That could spell disaster. - grand-magus
From what I saw from him, I don't see him up, he is getting pushed around by our own prospects. We do have some extremely big prospects, but what I've seen in the 3 on 3 tourney and the scrimmage, it confirmed my opinion, that the only player ready for the NHL in this years draft was Ekblad. |

Switch Stafford and Gionta . If you remember the line with Ennis - Stafford ,- Moulson actually had decent chemistry before Moulson got traded

I went and saw them several times late in the year including a playoff game and I am sure he was playing wing. Who knows where Tim and Ted have him pencilled in.

It's all good, I can't argue since it's not like I've seen them, just know what I quoted back then, but have never been able to find the damn article again. And check this craziness out: http://www.wgr550.com/pag...Type=4&contentId=12609006
I think that may have been the article I quoted. It's a link in a different Luke Adam article
I just want Luke Adam to get the Gerbe treatment. Play him, if he doesn't work out, let him go try to earn his way elsewhere. Just don't slap him on a poop line and expect him to put up numbers.
On thing I have seen in trying to find that article is that Adam apparently has become much better defensively. |

Nope...
Remember he centered Vanek & Pommer up here
They actually moved him to the wing two seasons ago down there... He's been on the LW for a while now

I am an Adam fan too . He did have a good year in Rochester . I wonder if he is a step slow for the NHL . Hopefully he has worked on that this summer. - Maximum Signal
He does seem to be on the slow side
I'd like to see him get one more shot up here though
He's at that make it or break it point |

One scrimmage does not prove him unworthy of the NHL for the coming year. There needs to be a bigger body of work to judge from.
NHL preseason games and possibly the 9 game tryout will determine that. |

When you're getting pushed around by 18-21 year olds on a fairly regular basis, it's a pretty good indicator that you're not ready. |

No shame in getting the 9game stint, then go back to Jrs and dominate (again) and work on getting bigger /stronger.
He must have only been able to do one pull up |
