What don't some of these folks get about that? The team at least will be entertaining to watch this year . Long term success is the goal. - Maximum Signal
I agree. I think we will win a few more games than last year, and be more competitive and tougher to play against. That's the goal.
In contrary to the Oiler's model which was "I really know these top picks can make us better," we have taken the approach of bringing in veterans that know how to play and build up the young kids. |

I have a hard time seeing more scoring even with having Moulson all year |

I feel the same way. With the vets they brought in this year the team will be better, but marginally. They may not win a lot more games, but they'll at least be like watching NHL games again as opposed to the Beer league hockey it seemed like we were watching for stretches of last year. |

I think defensively we will be more sound. The team will be in better shape, which won't hurt them late in the game. Goaltending is my biggest concern, but the two fighting for time could be beneficial.
Scoring won't be much different, but chemistry should be high and that could lead to lucky bounces. Who knows. I'm still interested in what happens on the ice. That is something I couldn't say last year. |

Maybe the Sabres will have a camp for players that aren't going to Traverse City which is why Stripes' friends were told they would be needed? |

I hope that we are better defensively, but I'm not sure how much of an upgrade Gorges/Meszaros are. Especially with Meszaros forcing TM to trade Myers ;x |

I would get annoyed with that style of body checking too. |

Possible, Baptiste said something on WGR this morning about a mini camp before Traverse City so maybe that's what's going on. |

I read that the other night. What a fantastic assessment of our kids.

That would be cool to build some chemistry going in. Make sure the players are in top shape and ready to go. |

If this piece of human garbage really ends up buying the Bills I may quit on sports for life...

30 million net profit? that would be a 3% return on investment annually if it costs a billion to buy them. seems a bit underwhelming. |
