I think there was abit of troll involved as well.
Anything can happen of course, but the yotes win the division over la, anaheim and san Jose?
Boedker gets 40?
Domi wins the calder?

If even one of those happened id be extremely surprised. Let alone all of them

He hit the nail on the head with the smiths though!! So effin good

Yeah, it's so idiotic to be positive about your team. If you don't put something in the title, you can't really troll your own blogs, just for record, since you already clicked it by the time you get to the body paragraphs.

Anyway, Anaheim, like Colorado was a team that probably can't sustain the luck it took them to finish so high, and I think those are two teams PhX can usurp. Not to mention Dallas.

Again, I think this is more you guys not being informed about the Coyotes over me being an idiot. They might lack first line talent, but are as good as anyone through the rest of their lineup and have a whole bunch of guys ready to take the next step in their careers, guys like OEL, Boedker, Hanzal etc who are potential star players and not yet at their peaks.

Can Boedker score 40? Yeah I think so, one day, he's super talented. Obviously those are pretty optimistic predictions, esp for all 3 to occur, but again, I would rather be wrong than be one of those guys who just is unrelentingly negative.

I wasn't calling you an idiot, btw. Except for the haiku thing, that was just sloppy.

Its fair to say that the Bruins play an easier schedule than teams in the West, but I would be willing to say that the West's superiority is slightly overblown.

You have a point, but I don't think it really changes the basic essence of what I was saying.

Well, it does. Your analogy of the Bruins being a better team than the 2 SC finalists is simply not correct. If the season ended at the conclusion of the pre-season you would have an argument, but the season doesn't end at 82 games. That's why it's called pre-season. Boston hit a milestone, that's all. Your comparison is like saying the true winner of Tour de France is the winner who had the yellow shirt the longest or won it on the first day.

The West superiority is not overblown. Top 6 teams had a combined 301 wins vs. 284 for East. The West is a far more competetive and difficult conference than the East. Lots of variables to consider and you can't just sweep them under the matt because of one variable.

Don't see the Coyotes making the playoffs.

ANA
STL
CHI
LAK
SJ
COL
MIN
DAL

Although you could really challenge any of COL, MIN, DAL for a playoff spot. The central division games are gonna be HUGE this year.

I was never a firm believer in anaheim, but theyre pretty well rounded.
And now with a one two punch of getzlaf and kesler down the middle...
