Your going to upset RFarwts when you talk like that. No one want to go to Winnipeg by choice. |

Ugh. Enough with this 'Joe Thornton to Winnipeg' business. Thornton will NEVER waive his no-trade to go to Winnipeg. NEVER.
If he's not going to win a cup in SJ, he's sure not going to win one in Winnipeg -- and the living situation in the 'Peg is FAR worse, relative to sunny San Jose.
Probability = 0% - jnwood2517
Only way Thornton ever wins a cup would be if he is traded to LA or ANA and I highly doubt that happens- otherwise the perennial choker will remain cupless... |

Well Drouin is considered one of the best prospects of the decade and will play in the nhl this year. Not a stretch to think he'll outscore Kane as well. So ya I wouldn't trade Drouin for him either. Not to mention Drouin is cheaper and younger and further from ufa - jbs32
Yeah his talent was only questioned after the draft last year. It was speculated that he would go at the top of the draft but people were worried that he wouldn't be able to put up the same numbers without Mackinnon. After he was sent back to the Mooseheads for the year without his partner in crime, he exceeded his numbers. This also gave him some time to develop more. I was fortunate to see him a few times this year and I can assure everyone that he is growing into the player he is projected to be. Put him on Stamkos' wing and he's going to be putting up big numbers. |

how the hell can we be interested, we have zero capspace and our only available assets are J. moore and prospects like fast and lindberg, maybe hagelin but i hope not. |

CHI,STL,COL,MIN,DAL,NSH (even showing signs of improvement).......Winnipeg.
Jets have to put this season in a bowl and eat it. You're stuck in a division of big players going all in. Watch them spend and burn...then make your move. |

Plus you have Matt Lombardi so you're good to go in terms of skilled forwards. |

Bolts in on Kane? Don't know what they'd give up to get him or how they would fit him under the cap. - jbs32

Nash has a NTC and will not waive to go the Peg. - Champ
Although, I could see a scenario where Nash ends up in SJ...less so with Thornton in NY, but I could see something happening there. Maybe a Marleau for Nash deal? Maybe a Thornton+ for Staal? |

Being as they are over the cap and don't have much on the nhl roster they don't need ya I don't see the match. |

Thank The Lord the Sabres lost interest! We don't need his drama here, especially for the price. |

While a line of Drouin-Stamkos-Kane would be a thing of beauty, I certainly don't think Stevie Y would trade the likes of Johnson + Killorn + Prospect for the honour of having Mr. Money-Tweet on the Lightning.
Something about him doesn't seem to fit the attitude of the club as a whole. |

A rumor here in Sweden says the habs have offered this deal.
To WPG: Bourque (salarycapdump), Gallagher, Plekanec and a 2nd
To Habs: Kane and Bogosian
Appearently the Jets wants a 1st instead of the 2nd.

That seems awfully low for Kane alone, let alone Bogo also. |

Yeah, can't see the Jets wanting Bourque. We just let a player similar go in Setoguchi... |

If that is a real offer, and I don't believe for a second that it is, then the Isles could do much better for those two |

Gallagher is a good young player but if you wouldn't dump him to take those two back then you're insane. |

Yeah, it'd be great if the Isles, Carolina, or Florida would start ringing Chevy's phone. Kane (if he goes) should go East. I have a bad feeling he'll burn us every time he plays us.... again, if he's traded. |

Ideally if we're going to start ponying up our favorite prospects I want to focus on our biggest need which is defense. Both players would be unreal but I fear what Snow would have to pay to get both of them. I could part with one of our better prospects/young guys but not two. |

Until your team makes the playoffs, i won't consider your opinion concerning players value. |
