It was a Habs long sleeve T shirt, that had the appearance of their jersey. It was a cotton T shirt Marty.

I had nothing to wear, means that I was on a two day trip (one night), and brought minimal clothing. The T shirt I brought was the one you saw, and I did not have any others.

I have no idea what the bolded means.
