Not sure I ever said that.
I might have...as Adam said been joking.
He is still unproven though. Looks real good at times. - stormey
agree with this. although i think he's proven about as much as he can given his role on the team in his first two years. they need to give him a shot in the top 6. |

You think? - hscesq
me: you know, Nylander is only 18. it's not a given that he dominates in the AHL or can handle top 6 in the NHL. could be that he only puts up 25 points.
burn: lol ok ya sure most talented player in the draft but there's no way he scores more than 25 points when Slava Voynov scored 23 in 2009!!! |

At this point, not sure what they'd be waiting for if they don't. Give him 18-20 mins and PP time, and see what he can do. |

Gretzky was throwing up over a hundred points a year at 20.
Clearly Gally cannot hold a candle to Gretzky despite what BL says. |

This is disappointing.
Hey, NHLN had the WHA story on the other night. Pretty cool. I was thrilled to know that Gretzky wore #17 in his first season, as this is my number. What all this means is, Nylander blows. |

I fail to see how Nylander sucking has anything to do with what you watched on TV. |

No he wouldn't. He doesn't skate well enough, and he has less raw skill than any of those kids. - hscesq
Don't call me wrong... I hate it Moen would look stellar zigzaging around those street cones on skates. |

Would like to see him at centre - l3ig_l2ecl
i don't imagine we will see that this year. this team has too many centres who are pigeonholed. DD is useless unless he's getting soft minutes with Pacioretty. Eller is useless on the wing and offensively limited. Plekanec is your defensive guy. not to mention, we don't have much depth at wing. |

I'm quite sure Chucky can produce and get better while playing on the wing. |

Sometimes I wonder if we will ever see Chuck at center. Is he really considered a center by his coaches? I know fans all dream about him being someday our 1C but if I recall, even in Sarnia, wasn't he playing wing at the end? If he is a real center why does he has been kept away from this position for so long? When was the last time he played center? His rookie junior season in 2010? |
