Hey, NHLN had the WHA story on the other night. Pretty cool. I was thrilled to know that Gretzky wore #17 in his first season, as this is my number. What all this means is, Nylander blows.

No he wouldn't. He doesn't skate well enough, and he has less raw skill than any of those kids.

i don't imagine we will see that this year. this team has too many centres who are pigeonholed. DD is useless unless he's getting soft minutes with Pacioretty. Eller is useless on the wing and offensively limited. Plekanec is your defensive guy. not to mention, we don't have much depth at wing.

Sometimes I wonder if we will ever see Chuck at center. Is he really considered a center by his coaches? I know fans all dream about him being someday our 1C but if I recall, even in Sarnia, wasn't he playing wing at the end? If he is a real center why does he has been kept away from this position for so long? When was the last time he played center? His rookie junior season in 2010?
