He's been very consistent. He's consistently invisible. He does nothing all year long, then get gets some points right before the season ends when the Isles have been eliminated just like clockwork. - JimmyP
That was always OK too.... seems to me that until Ok started to work out all summer with JT, Strome, et al he stunk until he got into mid season form.
I am not sure what Bailey's off season work outs .. but hopefully this year he stopped with the Chain push ups. |

Cody Franson signs 1yr deal 3.3 million - Nolanders
James Mirtle tweeted:
Was told early in weekend that Leafs would settle in $3.25-millon range. Same source said Franson would then be dealt, so we'll see." |

http://districtdetroit.com/ How can Detroit get this done and Nassau county can't.. disgrace. - niteislander
Because Detroit is an modern, new-age city flush with cash and I can't even finish typing this without laughing. |

I think the problem is just that. Snow is worried that he'll find his game elsewhere. So what. He's not finding it on the isles.
In 2011/2012 (I think) they had Bailey playing with Trent hunter and Blake Comeau. That's not really a spot for a guy you drafted 9th overall as the first pick in the rebuild.
Get whatever you can and move on. - kindlyrick
i dont really remember this happening but it definitely wasnt 2011-12 as trent hunter wasnt on the team that season. in 2010-11 trent hunter played only 17 games, even if all 17 were with bailey/comeau, im sure that didnt permanently scar bailey and turned him into the player he is today. so the earliest this "bailey hunter comeau" line was 09-10 season, its been 5 years since that happened. |

interesting that someone brought up Bailey again. He is scouted to be a perimeter player. Interesting b/c he is great passer and has an incredible shot.
So explain to me while Cappy has him grinding along the boards all year and then when Tavares goes down for injury he moves him into a more Center Controlling play and PP guy.
Why not give Bailey a chance to be that player. Put him on 2nd unit to run it. Let me play in Slot.
Problem with baily is confidence and a tool for a coach. Mark my words, Bailey will outproduce anyone we get in return. and we would be taken a step back then.
Does anyone feel like Strome is being mishandled already? I have feeling he will be next guy to ask to be traded when Cappy has him doing 4th line duty. |

You bolded the one part of that rant that, while completely inaccurate, was at least coherent. |

Okposo: drafted in '06
Didn't really start to hit his groove until '11.
Just saying. - eichiefs9
Don't worry. Bailey isn't going anywhere whether any of the fans want him to or not. Snow isn't going to give up on him. His trade value isn't very high. He's signed for four more seasons and unless its as part of a package for a big piece, I don't see Bailey getting moved. Others on this roster are more likely to get traded than Bailey. |

Which is why the Concher signing upsets me. I think Lee is a better option right now for a spot on this roster. - niteislander
I have no idea why they signed Conacher. There is no reason to sign that guy unless they are confident they're going to move some pieces in trades. |
