Was it Taylor hall or Steven Stamkos?

Edit:my mistake, I'm mixing up the sting with the spitfires

- Dedshark

Yeah stampkos played sarnia, and bailey spitfires and I think he played Owen sound first.

Either way Bailey led Windsor in pts as a center. I'd love to ask him if he'd rather play center? Not that it matters at this point, but it would be really interesting to hear his thoughts on his situation with the isles. I'd bet money he puts up more points on another team.

See and I think it's mostly a confidence thing......with a lack of caring. Mix those two together and you have an underachiever.

Bailey for Cody Franson straight up. Done.

- kindlyrick

I've been saying for a while I think Franson would be a good pickup for the Islanders...

They take a lot of risk in keeping a guy who clearly isn't producing for whatever the reason.

How much longer are you gonna wait on a guy who's been playing since 2009? Admit that it's not working and move on....

Okposo: drafted in '06

Didn't really start to hit his groove until '11.

Just saying.

We'll see. I think you're overstating the Isles' moves a bit (although I do like the goalie signings and Grabo and Kulemin for their defensive play -- if they find their offensive games again, that's a great bonus) and the impact they'll have relative to how much ground they have to make up and their improvement versus the rest of the East.

But I'm not saying they're a bottom-five team again either by any stretch. I believe they'll be a bubble team that'll likely fall a bit short, but could squeak in. If they fall a bit short but stay in it to the very end, and show signs of what they might become in a year or two, I'll consider it a good step forward. If they squeak in, I think that'd be the best case scenario. If they make a statement and glide into the playoffs, I'll be very, but pleasantly, surprised.

Quite possible... I do that a lot. (Oh Yeah!!)

But Okposo was paired with one of the best centers in the league. I dont see Bailey turning it around personally......gotta play the odds on this one.

I'm ready to ship him out as well, I think he may end up putting it together on another team. Just pointing out that Okposo took 5 years to start playing the right way.

And he wasn't always playing with Tavares, in '11-'12 he wasn't playing on that line and potted 24G, it was Moulson and PA and in '12-'13 it was Moulson and Boyes. I don't believe Okposo got any significant time before the playoffs with Johnny.

Conacher signing is the only one that ticks me off this summer. Unless we are trading some 4th line guys I don't want him in the mix. When we sign a guy like this they tend to stick with him Waaaaay too long instead of one of the Kids (PMB, Reasoner, Pando, etc.). I don't like him in the mix for the few forward spots open on this team. ...

My Lines.

Brock Nelson/JT/OK
Kul/Grbo/Lee
Strom/Franz/Grabner or Bailey
MM/CC/CC

I think either Bailey or Grabner gets moved. Don't want Conacher on team unless he is taking one of 4th line slots b/c one of those guys got traded.

You are right but Ok went to college.. Bailey has had a ton of NHL experience at this point. He should have had his breakeout by now.. truly. I really hope it would happen last year... now I think he should go.

I think the major difference between Kyle and josh is that Kyle wanted to succeed. He plays with a lotta heart. Bailey just goes through the motions. That's not a recipe for success....or "turning it around"

The point was that 2 years ago just about everyone in here was tossing Okposo's name in the ring for a trade, now he's virtually untouchable.

I don't foresee the same happening for Bailey, but I'm just pointing out that sometimes it takes awhile. I'm done with Bailey here but I genuinely think if/when he goes to another team that he starts to put it together at least somewhat more consistently.

I agree and like the lines. Trade Bailey. Not suggesting this, but it would be funny if Conacher was on the 4th line with Cal and Casey. CC/CC/CC or CC^3

But if MM stays there we can call them the Triple Double line. I'm patenting that now, you are all witness to it.

Ok, well luckily I don't care at all about debating what Bailey will do on another team.

Which is why the Concher signing upsets me. I think Lee is a better option right now for a spot on this roster.

He's been very consistent. He's consistently invisible. He does nothing all year long, then get gets some points right before the season ends when the Isles have been eliminated just like clockwork.

I could see a trade with Bailey, MM, and couple of D- prospects (donovan, Mayfield, and Pedan ..not the Reinhardt, Polka, Polock, Czurczman, etc.)... for a top pairing cap nightmare easily (Yandle, Phan, etc...). so I could see the CC3 line happen.

Personally I want Ho Sang to do well and a trade for Kapenen's kid b/c I want a

Ready for it?

here it comes..

Bailey has played EVERYWHERE. He's centered the second line...fail. Centered the third line...fail. They moved him to second line wing....fail.....third line wing...fail.

He has no fire...none. It's like the American version of Kvasha!

- keaner17

You mean the Canadian version of Kvasha.
