I would think the Yotes would want/need offense but I just don't see the Yotes trading him this year if anything.
And if Yandle did come here, the way the team is being constructed, I think it might be easier to resign him in 2 years...

At the prices defensemen seem to be worth, I'd expect Phoenix to want something like Nielsen, Lee and maybe a 1st or 2nd. We don't have ours for next year so I'm not sure, but it would be expensive. They'd obviously push for Strome or Nelson most likely, or a combination of a good roster player and a blue chip prospect and a pick. Just a guess on my end, I could be off base here.

I just want to thank kindlyrick for the entertainment yesterday. The post were hilarious and I can understand where you are coming from, but you took over my reign as the annoying poster and it feels great!!!

I don't know about awesome, but already this roster is the best it's been in ten years. If Snow can land a good d-man I think they can be competitive. After years of having my hopes crushed I'm still afraid to get too happy.

As I said before THE ORIGINAL POST I replied to said the isles fleeced Ottawa with Campoli for Dehaan. Apparently that poster didnt remember Comrie and mcammond in that trade 5-6 years ago either.

in an effort to re-establish my reign as King Antogonist, and i didnt even need google to help me with this one, the first time the word "fleeced" was brought into play was with the comment

"Cause there's 5 other times he got fleeced."

(which is irrelevant to the topic but couldnt leave it out for im sure it would have been used against me)

However, as you point out, the topic was about campoli for dehaan. with that in mind, the next time the word "fleeced" was used in the correct context of this discussion was when someone said

"You're acting like the isles fleeced Ottawa"

thats a fact, anyone can check that.

what also is a fact is that the poster of both of those comments was KindlyRick AKA the original poster of someone saying that the islanders fleeced ottawa. so if your issue is, as you indicate in the bold, with the original post that the isles "fleeced" the senators, then i believe i can speak for everyone and especially vukota and xxnyixx, and say that we agree, we too have an issue with the original post.

God that sounds like a lot... but i think you are right.

I just dont want to over spend on a great d-men if we can get a good one, cheap as we get closer to the season and teams have to make cuts and payroll dumps.
