Hope so.

One reliable NHL defenseman and this team is legit. Minus the coach of course. I cant shake that out of my head.

It's interesting, it's just another way of thinking about things that makes the evidence a little more tangible and a little less opinion-based. It's not perfect and it's not the final answer on whether Player X is good or bad. It's definitely interesting and makes you think.

I don't understand it all and I won't pretend to but what I do know is pretty cool. If Dan wanted I'd be happy to do like a post or two a month using it, considering that it's only useful over a larger sample of games.

You start your nhl career with Martinek and Carkner and get back to me.. Guy has played two thirds of one nhl season.. He was good with DeHaan, people need some sort of patience with dmen..

This has nothin to do with Martinek and carkner. This has EVERYTHING to do with the fact that the isles were desperate for dmen and moved Donovan up too quickly. The proof is his brand new 2 way deal.

Players like John Tavares come across once a decade (if that). Ryan Stome looks to be a talented forward, but please don't say he'd replace Tavares as first line center, because the only replacement for Tavares are maybe 3 players in the show. He's irreplaceable to me...

blue chip prospect (Pokka, Pulock, etc)
pick (most likely 1st, 2nd)

Lets not act like Garth dumped Gomez etc for Mcdonagh etc. Campoli was set to get double what he was making, and we all know Wang loves to pinch pennies in the basement (especially at that time).

Calvin DeHaan appears to have talent, but the guys had what 3 shoulder injuries in about as many years? Are we really acting like we have a future PP QB with a kid who's had a history of season ending injuries before his NHL has begun?

Yes you!!. Guys like strome because he has potential and is a legit top prospect and you tell us that we all think he already is an all star because we like him and think he has a bright future. Go find me all the posts that says he is already an all star. I'll wait
