The OHHH SHINEY!! Factor? Because he was a big name?

Are you saying the Flyers can't make a mistake?

It's a better line than Raffl-Schenn-Akeson, at least.

He hasn't sucked for years, his play has declined from very good to being limited. He can still score goals, but he's not a good two way or possession player, he's not a good skater and he's a guy that needs good skating & two way wingers to be remotely effective.

The Flyers saw a big name who was still scoring goals and went all in. Other teams saw him struggle this season and are avoiding him like a profusely bleeding Haitian Hooker on a hot day

Well, if I have to work, that would be my dream job. Go watch hockey games, get paid for it and not have to deal with any of the responsibility of meeting the cap or building a team

He hasn't been a "really good player" for a number of years. That back injury must keep recurring.
- Jsaquella

That's false. Lecavalier scored at a 67 point pace in the 12/13 season. That's pretty good production.

Last Season, As Berube stated Lecavalier was hurt for most of the Season. Clearly wasn't 100%, and that affected his skating. He's never been a speedster, but if he's healthy, his skating is fine. And it was certainly fine before the back injury. Of course a player who had a poor overall season, and a significant back injury would be a question mark to a lot of teams. Doesn't mean he's done or can't bounce back.

I'd want the Mark Howe package. Tri-state area, live at home, short flights and train rides

Wasn't he was scoring at a 37-goal pace early on this past season? Guess pace doesn't always hold up... just ask the Leafs.

Last time I was there I ordered one with the fires on the side. It was the best food I've ever had in Pittsburgh despite the glare I got from the waitress. Every other thing I've eaten there was a stomach turner.
