yeah - I am having a hard time comprehending this possible scenario?

Montreal - Beautiful city with lots of culture
NY - again beautiful (at least the parts that Jumbo's family would be in) and cultural capital of the USA

I could understand Vancounver, Philly, and lots of other cities being atractive IF Jumbo wanted to move.

I just do not see anything about the Jets that would entice Jumbo:
terrible city to travel out of compared to a travel hub
mediocre team
mediocre management
mediorce prospects
Mediocre Arena
NOT a cap team
Cold
long winters
media attetion can be overwhelming
zero chance of playoffs
low chance of winning hte lottery


on the plus side:
Incredible fan base
lots of media attention
low expectations - a good effort from jumbo and he would be a hero

Tatar, a prospect and the 2nd rounder is about as high as I see
Holland go. He lost his mind lately, but no way in hell he trades Nyquist or Mantha
for Myers.

2 very good RH D prospects are almost ripe in Grand Rapids.

Myers isn't getting traded..

I wouldn't even trade him for Evander Kane rihgt now and we are supposed to be the hottest team after him too.

I think that would be on the negative side for Thornton. If you're going to go to a poopty team you might as well go somewhere with good weather and not as much media scrutiny.

Realistically projecting Nyquist... I could see him being a 25g, second line winger with some consistency.

His shooting % should drop from 18%, to closer to the league avg. around 10%.



I could live for a straight up Myers/Nyquist swap.

Any of you dudes have the Surface 3? I'm looking into getting one to replace my laptop and want to know what peeps think.

Probably only gonna get the i3 because I have a heavy duty desktop.

Why would Buffalo want to trade Myers?? His age is perfect for being a core peice on the back end..
