-Tim Murray isn't shopping Myers.
-If a team wants him, they'll be overpaying.
-Wings fans think they're offering too much with Mantha. Despite the fact that he's an unproven commodity, the Wings have their panties in a twist calling foul.
-Sabres fans are either over valuing Myers or simply stating, like myself, the only propositions worth discussing are ones that offer more than what Myers is actually worth, because, according to our GM, not only is he not being actively shopped, but has been endorsed numerous times by TM pertaining to his future in Buffalo
-Toronto fans are making Toronto proposals of Gardiner, Kadri and a 2nd for anything
-Everyone else is either saying Myers has a ton of upside still or Myers SUXXX UMADBRO?!

Did you watch any Sabre games last year ? Under Nolan , Myers was the best player on the ice , For either team . You can't teach size and he also has great skating ability for a man of that size. He is not being traded unless it is an overpayment . What is so hard to understand about that ?

Oh I did. Half the proposals youre shaking your finger at Murray would be a facking moron not to take. I get the whole, "we dont need to trade him" routine that youre putting out there but gimme a break. Myers has shown some good spots and has potential. Id honestly like to have him but give me a break. Some of your posts were completely contradictory to prior ones you made. Calling next yrs draft the "best in ten years" and then saying you dont want any picks due to you having enough. You guys are rebuilding and I think a lot of you are being a bit delusional by saying your rebuild will be over next year. Actually, I dont think. I know.

Ok. Thats fine but that's not an overpayment. Thats career suicide at this point with what Myers brings to the table. Youre preaching to the choir with the whole we dont need to trade him routine. I get it but half the stuff you guys are scoffing at is an overpayment. Saying you'll require a number one d man or an elite forward is laughable.

Posters here from every team say that every time a player is mentioned in a trade. It doesn't happen often. In reality, he probably won't get traded. But if some of the packages that you've put your nose up at were offered, your gm would be an idiot to turn them down. If he had the opportunity to make the team better but turned it down because he wanted a big overpayment then he's failing as a gm.

Yeah and we already have 3 1st and 3 2nds how much more do we need? It's not like we are gonna go from worst to 1st in 1 year. But we will have an elite #1 in either McDavid or eichle. Then we just need to fill 5 spots from moulson, hodgson, ennis, reinhart, stafford, Girgenson, grigorenko and armia. Think we can find 5 top end fowards there.
The whole point is buffalo is trying to build a team that will be a serious cup contender and not a team that hopes to squeak into the playoffs. Ur just made bcz I think the islanders are a team without any direction.
