No, they actually sold these as "alternative" jerseys in the mid to late 1990's.
- Jsaquella

in the same way they sell pink jerseys for little girls, or green ones for St. Patrick's day. not in the sense they were authentic jerseys anyone ever wore in a game.

They never will.

Just like I will never go to a town hall where there isn't one adolescent male who needs to ask the Coach or GM why they don't have a legitimate enforcer (oxymoron alert).

true. But they weren't the practice ones, either.

And just like the greens and pinks, they're hideous

Sure. Let's talk about Sam Morin's improvement and work ethic and why he might end up being a stud.

Jagr wore a Jofa with Pens, too...but not as a Flyer. Does Jari Kurri count? He was a Flyer for a good half hour, forty-five minutes

No, that's too much like being optimistic for this crowd. All Flyers draftees do/will/have suck/suck/sucked.

I really like Hextall's first draft class. He loaded up on skilled players, almost all of whom were scouted as being good skaters(and the one who wasn't is reportedly working on his own with a skating coach) and not a single guy taken because he was a dynamite fighter.
