That goes against the way I like to play games like Civ and AoE/AoM.

I love to play those games where I build up defences, research all the technology and then send a massive (frank)ing army to burn the entire map to the ground.

But in CiV I find that is harder to do.

Well for starters - the youth criminal act needs serious revisions- today a 15yr in regina admitted to stabbing 3 people in the mall back in April- well no poop- he was caught with physical evidence and well now the cool off time is over- he admitted to the crime- so what will he get?? at best they put him in a mental health facility for adolesent youth- 2 yrs or maybe even less as the victims all survived... evidently the kid was 'angry' about breaking up with his girlfriend...

I remember when I was young and angry and pissed off. I would go chop some wood in the forest or go hit the punching bag for a while or go for a long run. After about an hour I could care less about the problem.

Jesse Joensuu is overpriced and given how much of a bandaid he is, I might rather have Lander in his spot. Also, since the Oil seem to love Gazdic and will play him a ton, it doesn't make sense to have a 950k guy sitting in the press box.

We should trade him for a pick/prospect, or he should be the first asset dealt in a deal with a team like Boston that's looking to clear space.

Blaming society isn't a valid excuse. But stuff like this should make us look in the mirror to see how we can improve. It's a bit of a joke that not everybody is born with the same chance at life as everyone else. Again, it's not an excuse and it does not absolve anyone from a crime. But if we are looking at preventing stuff like this in the future, we need to consider this type of poop.
