On the surface I'd consider a petry + pick for smith + Sheahan type of deal

This is why I dont like looking at advance stats at players, especially defense.
Have to look at how they play with or without their main D partner and if your team has a comparable player to them.

Example: Fayne 57.6 Corsi but 47.2 when not on with Andy Greene. Strong numbers but I am a bit nervous for you guys at how he does pairing with their current oiler core. I like him as a player and I would have wanted him on the Avs but his numbers tell a different story.

I miss the good old days of evulating players on how they looked on the ice and not number crunching

Joakim Andersson, Stephen Weiss and a 3rd Rounder for Jeff Petry

or how about straight up Jakub Kindl for Jeff Petry

The first two trades I definitely threw in a bad contract on the Wings side as MacTavish has stated many times he's willing to take on salary from other teams. Quincey, as much as myself and other Wings fans bash him, is a top 6 defense that can replace some of the minutes you'll be missing with Petry gone and is on contract for 2 years rather than one, and you get a young center that should be able to play 2C for the Oilers this year. Second trade I added the pick from the Red Wings side for taking the Weiss contract off our hands. But if Weiss can get his game back it's a steal for the Oilers, you get 2 NHL centerman plus a pick in this deal which greatly increases your center depth. Final trade is a close one, Kindl hasn't lived up to expectations but is on contract for 3 more years, the Wings get their right handed Dman and hopefully he resigns because if he doesn't, it's a big loss for us. Would you guys take any of these deals?

I got the Kings and Gods expansion (or whatever the hell it's called) and has some nice upgrades. I'm liking playing as Venice, new twist.
