Blaming society isn't a valid excuse. But stuff like this should make us look in the mirror to see how we can improve. It's a bit of a joke that not everybody is born with the same chance at life as everyone else. Again, it's not an excuse and it does not absolve anyone from a crime. But if we are looking at preventing stuff like this in the future, we need to consider this type of poop.

I think in a lot of cases people just use that sh1t as an excuse for their sh1tty attitudes. Not saying some people's brains aren't (frank)ed up... I just think the majority of the time, it's just people are being Richards.

My cousin works in that field, and rarely is it mental abnormalities... It's more common that there are questionable upbringings involved, but usually it's just d-bags who were raised in loving homes... When something doesn't go their way, look out!

Jesse Joensuu is overpriced and given how much of a bandaid he is, I might rather have Lander in his spot. Also, since the Oil seem to love Gazdic and will play him a ton, it doesn't make sense to have a 950k guy sitting in the press box.

We should trade him for a pick/prospect, or he should be the first asset dealt in a deal with a team like Boston that's looking to clear space.

If we get the healthy mean Joensuu that started last year prior to his injury it will be great. Unfortunately the chances are he will play timid trying to stay healthy and will be ineffective like he was late last season...
