You can laugh now, but I think Nylander has as much chance of being a star in the NHL as guys below him. Rielly was definitely worth the 5th overall so it's safe to assume the Leafs scouting are doing their homework now.

Clearly all the Leafs' rivals and anti-Leafs fans out there hate the idea of Stamkos as a Maple Leaf, but no one can deny that it's certainly an intriguing story line, especially when you consider Stammer's actions over the past couple days.

Is it a subtle message to Stevie Y to consider heading into negotiations? Most likely, but perhaps there's more to it? That's all anyone is saying at this point.

I think the chance to be a diety in Toronto would defiently play into him signing there Stamkos is an Elite player he knows it the world knows it where he plays isnt gonna change how he plays hes still gonna rack up huge points hes still young so he has the im invincible mentallity goin on besides for the chance to bring the stanley cup home to Toronto is a huge addiction to anyone that can shoulder the pressure which im sure he could
