I didn't see Toews there. But yeah, besides Crosby, Toews.

He hasn't won a Norris, but he should have. Who gives a flying (frank) what some American journalists think. 2 cups, 2 gold medals, and he was vital in the teams successes. Norris trophy is by far the biggest joke in NHL awards.

The actual debate is that doughty is the 2nd best player in the world.. Not who gets a Norris.. And I don't think he's the 2nd best .. But I am a big fan!

But in all seriousness, I have Doughty ranked that high because for the past year he played like he belongs there. Most people you talked to during the final would say Doughty is at the top. He's not as flashy as say a PK or Keith, but he's a far better defender and a physical presence. I take him on my team over Toews, sorry to disagree lol.

I know this is all opinion, but I think Toews is just a tad overrated.. How good would he be without Keith, seabrook, Kane, Hossa, Sharp etc..

I think it's crazy to say a guy who puts up 69pts is better than Sid.. What if Toews didn't have the support cast and was relied on to score more? His D game wouldn't be as good and he might put up 80-90pts.

Not soon enough.. But it might have to be a Russian who seizes the opportunity to reach GOD status in Toronto.. Canadian players seem terrified of the spotlight.

Crosby does it all.. He played phenomenal during the Olympics and only scored once (if I recall correctly). If he wanted to he could be more of a Toews type player but he has too much talent to let it goto waste.
