I have a cap/LTIR question that hopefully someone can answer. If the Flyers use the maximum amount (go over cap) of Pronger's LTIR money before season starts to maximize their in season overage limit, can they use this available LTIR money to cover Timonen's $1.5 mil bonus this season and not push bonus overage to following season?

For instance, the Flyers recall/sign any combo of waiver eligible players before season to be over the cap as close to Pronger's $4.9 mil cap hit. Next LTIR Pronger, then once season begins, they demote two players totalling roughly $1.5 mil, thus being under overage cap limit by $1.5. If the Flyers keep $1.5 mil available throughout the entire season, can this be used to cover Timonen's $1.5 mil bonus for '14-'15 season? Or can you only cover bonuses with "standard" cap money, not LTIR money?

Thanks

Nice to see this about Brandon Alderson, may turn out to be a solid UFA signing.

You're always so on topic.

Such a good example.

Now who's this Bob Ryan everyone is chatting about?

Our lord and savior, duh.

Him, Evander Kane, Shea Weber, and Keith Yandle will bring us the cup (eventually).

Morin needs to go back to the Q, but there's no reason why he shouldn't be up for a nine game tryout.

Ignore the actual writing. There are quotes from Flyers people and his Junior coach. Assumption seems to be he's going back to Juniors unless something drastic happens.

Says he took 500 one timers per day after practice. According to OB that was a particular area of weakness for him and they say he's significantly improved.

Softening your stance?

If Morin doesn't return, who will you watch? I know you can't stay up for Sanehim's games. Aube Kubel?

Nope I believe he'll be back, but if he has a strong enough camp & if he plays in any games it can change.

The German guy earlier was completely knocked unconscious and they let him return to the game. Do Neurologists not exist in other countries?
