I'd trade Tanev, Burrows, 2015 2nd + 2016 3rd for Gallagher & Markov (on a 1 year contract) and a 2015 3rd.

Honestly. There is a very good chance that both Vancity and Buffalo win the trade. They need young centerman (Im aware we do aswell) And we need a power forward. Power forwards always take time to pan out. Gillis could look like a genius if Kassian pans out. (Yes, I just said that)

We also havent had a 2nd PP unit since that trade. It was being carried by the player who was traded away... Schroeder was supposed to be the safety net for that trade and he was a bust for the Canucks. That compounds the negative in that deal.

Kassian is going to be good or great but no one is going to look like a genius for that trade ever. Too much has been effected negatively for this to ever be a home run.

The timing and exchange of value (at the time) was awful and contributed to the organizational meltdown we've all witnessed over the past few seasons. A hindsight deluded evaluation of the talent exchanged doesn't change that.

What's done is done. Mike Gillis is an idiot for trading Hodgson at that junction, but I wont let his mistake cloud my views of Kassian.

Considering what Hodgson got paid, and our cap situation over the last two years, there was a distinct possibility that we would have gotten fleeced in a trade if we had held onto him any longer.

He's NOT on the squad now, and I'd rather be optimistic in my hopes of what Kassian can bring to the team in the much larger pacific conference.

If Kassian is part of a core that brings the cup to Vancouver, then GMMG is a genius IMO. You don't have to share it, but of course I don't have to remind you of that.

Took my grandson to the pool along Marine drive around Arbutus and as we were all having a relaxing day in the water, the lifeguards told every one to get into the shallow end.It was like the movies Jaws as everyone hurried for safety. No one had any idea what was going on as the chatter sounded throughout the pool.

All of a sudden the guards came out with a clear blue plastic bag and a pool scoop. There it was . Someone pinched a turd in the deep end. I looked around to see if Bill Murray was going to come out but , nope this one was real.

If out future could be ROR McCann and Horvat down the middle we are looking like one tough team to play against. Kass Virtanen Shink on the wings of just use all those guys in the top six and the twins can do third line duties. Get ROR if you can JB
