To be honest, apart from soccer and hockey I don't watch TV much.

For films, while I don't watch many, I do like comedies (who doesn't?) and crime thrillers. I'd say my favourite movie is Seven, though I'd put American Beauty as a close second.

I've never seen the movie Commando, do you want to show it to me?

Tell me about it. All the old Brits at the gym are hilariously anti-Argentina. Hand of God plus the Falklands. Even my wife, who's a Scot but a monarchist.

'Hand of God' was one of best sports quotes of all time, you have to admit, though.

That Neymar guy, isn't he like the King of Diving? I know they all are, but it just seemed like this guy was always the one I'd see. Guess the lame soccer god's decided to invoke some karma. I was reading some tweets when he got hurt and people were mad as (frank) when he was called a faker. I bet his injury wasn't even bad. They just said he was almost paralyzed or whatever bullpoop to make it more dramatic.

I saw that Predators remake last night...it was pretty good. But meh....all these 'reboots' seem like more of just an exercise in hitting all the marks, so fanboys can sit there with a checklist of how much they did or didn't piss on the original. I wish they'd put as much money into new story concepts as they do reheating old ones.

He did suffer a fractured vertebrae. However he did spend the other games diving. I hate divers. I hope that serves as a lesson to all of the (frank)ers. I'd high five that Colombian guy if I could

OMG settle down Lums.. Soccer is nothing but a bunch of flopping pansies trying to cheat to win.. France eliminated Ireland from the last World Cup contention with a handball and no one cares.

I was really impressed with Argentinas effort against Netherlands, none of that awful flopping around that South American (and Latin) teams are notorious for committing.

I would like to see everything "soccer" go away for awhile.. Everyone becomes this lame bandwagon fan during the WC.. I tried watching a few matches and it seemed obvious the refs were controlling the outcome. There's absolutely zero integrity left in that sport. Which is a shame because there are some highly skilled players out there.

Messi is and always has been a class act. Germany are going to triple team him, but Argentina should do well to pay attention to what France did against Germany. They played balls deep, over the defence and often beat them down the wings with speed. Germany can be beaten - the game versus Brazil was a complete mental meltdown by the host nation.
