They'll just key on the usual suspects. "You'd still be better with Seguin and Hamilton", "lolclarkson", blah blah blah.
What team wouldn't want to possess the puck more though? - Morris
And don't forget future superstar, Jared Knight. |

You are out in left field
I'm here to engage In Hockey talk
I never criticize leafs fans
But you are the moral compass
Perhaps you should attack leafs fans on here that criticize the leafs |

Sure you are. Look, just admit it. No shame in your game. The fact you deny it just makes you seem a mess. As Aetherial mentioned, we know what you guys are all about and the true nature of your agenda when you show up here.
Why should I attack Leaf fans for sharing their opinions on the Leafs? I do however question why a fan of a rival team has such a great interest in the Leafs.
Im not attacking anybody. Im just saying it like it is. |

Great interest? I live in the gta when it's leafs 24/7
So I'm a fan of a rival team therefore I can have no knowledge of the leafs |

You're scrambling to defend and deny your troll game and it's making you say some silly things. Nobody said you can't have knowledge on the Leafs or can't talk about the Leafs. Some of us are just calling it like it is. We notice the tendancy to bring up, focus on, obsess over and magnify all things negative about the team. |

I've noticed a trend with Dion since he joined the Leafs and I'm going to pay attention to it this year. Every October he looks like a better defenseman than he did in March the season prior. He seems more mobile and less prone to bonehead plays earlier in the year. I wonder if they keep his minutes down before New Year's will he look better come the playoff stretch? Assuming they're still relevant. |

He's well rested in October
March is like game 70
But we better check with tool to see if my comment has relevance |

That's my point. It falls on the coaching staff to decide whether to ease his minutes earlier in the season to keep him from being worn down later, or if there won't be a later if they play him less earlier. Tough call.
I know one could point out that a 7 mil defenseman shouldn't need reduced minutes, but that's not relevant to what I'm asking. The G.M. paid him, it's the coaches responsibility to maximize his potential. |

Not sure where this comes from. He was 34th among Dmen in average ice time per game last year. Hardly over working him. A teams #1 Dman is expected to play the minutes he does... |

It falls on 2-6
The lower the calibre of dmen the higher the minutes dion will see during crunch time later in the season
Leafs are a top heavy salaried team
Next highest paid dman is at 3m |

Could you find out his average ice time comparables by month?
I know a team's #1 is supposed to play those minutes. What I'm saying is they need to find a way to keep Dion in early season shape all through the year. He's clearly slower mentally and physically come March/April. |

In fairness, Dion needs to find a way to keep Dion in shape. The Leafs aren't over working him, so if there is a slow down later in the season, it's all on him... |
