I'm curious how people will react if they play better next season. Say they improve their defensive zone coverage, improve the possession stats everyone loves, and show a natural, positive progression in their younger players. I'm genuinely curious as to how the doomsayer Leaf fans and the outside pundits will react.

good question. to me it was pumped by kids who would get shredded on here for using goals-assists and plus minus totals as a lone judge of talent.

the best iswhen they say "no one asseses players by advanced stats alone" then do write ups where they cite nothing but stats and graphs.
