Laich doesn't sniff top-6, unless he is LW. We have no second line center, despite GMBM and whoever else insisting Kuznetsov or Laich can play it.

Ribs is a coke head and a selfish player. He's easily a better player than Laich, but I'd rather stay away from him and his behavioral issues.

Is the cocaine thing documented or is that just speculation? Besides Rib's lack of size, my only complaints while he was here was his temper and retaliatory penalties. I'm still thinking he might be a 2C option.

Blah. I'd rather they try their little "try everyone at center" plan than sign Ribs. Richards would have been great. Legwand too. I'd even rather sign Roy than Ribs, for sure, and I don't really like Roy.

Trade Laich, Brouwer, and Erskine out. Bring in Jumbo Joe.

Maybe Green could go to the Jets, along with a forward, and a pick for Kane? Kane would do well with Ovie in my opinion. However, the salary hit would be my only question. I don't think Green would like going to the Oil. That team is a mess, but they do have players to move, and could take the money hit.
Anyway, I do think that Green is gone one way or another. His style of play has lead to injuries, and his salary would free up some cap space.
