franson
take a look at his numbers last 2 seasons, his age, and look what other sign for in that area.
leafs should be able to get a 2nd rounder or early 3rd rounder for Franson.
Lupul has worth, he was on pace for like 84 points 2 seasons ago, and he still banged in 22 last year. kadri had a tough year in his sophmore season.
yeah you are right these guys are worth nothing, just buy them out like grabo.
know it all douche. - big_dion

That wasn't at all what that post was for of course they would match it. He said we cant offer sheet because we have no 2nd round pick. My point was it doesn't matter cause the offer sheet would be over 6 mil and would be all first rounders no 2nd needed. - jake24242
that were the discussion is/was going.
four 1st going the other way then stay away from that offer sheet.
RoR is not worth four 1st.
Over $5,046,585 to $6,728,781 First-round, second-round and third-round pick
Over $6,728,781 to $8,410,976 Two first-round picks, second-round pick, third-round pick
Over $8,410,976 Four first-round picks |

The Rags and the Habs were pretty much statistically even.
edit: Kari Lehtonen had a great season too |

Rangers do not make the playoffs with mediocre goaltending. there's a reason that their record stunk until Lundqvist turned it on last year. |

Well ya anyone with a good goalie is a threat to make the playoffs. A goalie is the only player who can actually control the game. Goaltending is the most important position but yet they get paid less. |

except Pittsburgh |

because there are so many good ones. supply and demand. think about how many teams have a true #1 goalie. then think about how many teams have a true #1 centre and true #1 dman. |

Rangers were also one of the better possession teams in the league, finished 6th overall. They're good. |

No love for Trevor Smith? he was great till he got hurt
James Van Riemsdyk – Tyler Bozak – Phil Kessel
Joffrey Lupul – Nazem Kadri – Matt Frattin
Leo Komarov – Petri Kontiola – David Clarkson
Troy Bodie – Mike Santorelli – Trevor Smith
Defense
Dion Phaneuf – Jake Gardiner
Roman Polak – Morgan Rielly
Stephane Robidas – Cody Franson
Goalies
Jonathan Bernier
James Reimer
Kadri and Frattin get a shot to recreate this
Dion can play his right side finally, Jake gets more minutes - PinkSock
Hey hey, Frattin can't play on the 2nd line because apparently his name isn't "big", but let's forget his amazing chemistry with Kadri for whatever reason..

Goalies are often pretty inconsistent from year to year. The top guys like Lundqvist who've proven to be great over multiple seasons still get paid. |

Fact is, the Devils were even better than the rags in that regard...
...but 45 games of Marty Brodeur cost them a playoffs spot.
Goaltending matters. |

look at what the Leafs paid for a solid #1. virtually nothing. scraps. there aren't "too" many but there doesn't need to be. |
