San jose has to move some one.. Jumbo Joe has stated his top two destinations are New York and T.O to one of my sources.

I doubt either ever play here, but I feel Tavares is more likely than Stamkos to "come home"

I actually don't doubt Tavares playing with the Leafs. I'm not holding my breath, but if NYI hasn't built a contender around him by the time he hits UFA status then they don't deserve him.

Not to insinuate Toronto will have a contender by 2018, but I imagine they would make a substantial push to get him.

I'm really liking the spott and hor signing as asst coaches. Hor kinda got screwed by Florida as he didn't get a full season with them and Sport has been a great coach at many levels.

It's not that Carlyle is a bad coach. He really isn't, he's extremely attentive to subtleties with line changes, getting the most our of zone starts and utilizing defensive players well. However, he doesn't see the writing on the wall unless other coaches run certain aspects of the play. The last assistant coaches were all yes men and lacked certain control over their areas of coaching.

I think at this point, RC will run the lines, the match ups and the bench. Everything else specific will be given to the assistants to employ new strategies with the specialty teams, offensive plays and the like.
