I think a bit more than Kessel, because he's got a longer track record of strong play, and the cap went up.

9M, 9.5M, around there.

But in the end, what's 1.5 going to get you, really?

Yeah, sounds fair.

The main thing is that with these news deals Chicago is out an extra $8.4M per year. They had to do it but it's going to suck.

I'm just trying this Naughty Neighbour beer, I'm digging this first one. Also it wasn't intentionally timed but I think I did end up doing a traditional 4:20 as well.

I can see why they re-signed him... and the cap's gonna keep rising, so they'll be fine in terms of depth(mainly because of their fantastic developmental system- something Pittsburgh never figured out), but I woulda traded him. Coulda got a king's ransom in a strong draft coming up, and probably would have gotten another top liner out of it.

Crazy lifespan for a dog that big.

Woulda guessed them at 8 years, not 12.

because it's not on the seat- kinda hanging off, because the seat curves down.

Sleeps like that a lot, actually.

Oh poop, do I ever need one.

Today has been so stressful I'm actually laughing. One for the ages.

I just have some mopping up to do now, and then I'm going to shove my head into a bucket of beer.

Don't expect him to put up that shooting %age again, but he did seem to have more confidence in his own scoring ability this year... something he lacked in prior years, with his "just pass it to Phil" mentality.

well, to be fair, how many of his goals were from more than 10ft from the net? any?

better be cashing on those

I just read about them, yeah that looks like a nice dog. Big, strong dogs. I always thought it would be nice to have a dog that not only is a pet but is actual security for your household too. Just because it's there. Nobody's gonna come around with one of those out in the yard. They look really nice and friendly too.

Yeah, he looks like some kind of husky for sure, beautiful. I've never had a dog but I've known a lot of dogs.

We won't get a dog quite yet, not until we have a big yard. I'd never get a husky myself, they're rad, but that's too much for me.

I always liked the classic family dogs like retrievers, labs and shepherds. We talk about getting a really trainable dog to train him to police the cat lol

German Short-Haired Pointer.

But mine generally just humped the cat.

all the same great attributes of Labs and Retrievers, but smarter and way more athletic

honestly any dog over 40 lbs that barks works quite well.

but if you want tough and tough looking, Ridgeback is a great way to go... nothing says get off my lawn like a dog with a Mohawk

It could certainly lead to that lol

It's a tasty beer, having another one now. It's an unfiltered hoppy American style pale ale, 4.9%...really hoppy but light and drinkable too, great summer beer if you like some big hops

They are very lean for a big dog as they were bred for speed and to be agile in the hunt. I m guessing the fact they don't have a lot of extra pounds for a big dog it takes less of a toll on their body.
