Nonis "I’m not the big culture change kind of guy...you can’t flip a switch w/ twp coaches and say that everything’s going to be different."

Nonis: "Part of the changes that we are looking to make is in the atmosphere and that’s not a knock on the other coaches..." - peddy-93
I think most wanted the 'culture change' by simply trading and/or firing people. Shanny seems to have played it a little smarter than that. Keep the talent where you have it, don't start at square one, but change it from within.
I think we all underestimate how much they've expressed to Randy that he must change if he wants to stay. |

Well Horachek/Spott have vastly different systems to Carlyle so don't think we'll be getting heavily outshot game in game out anymore. |

So apparently the Leafs are working on trades for O'Reilly and Thornton, and looking to sign Setoguchi.

Watch the games, nerd!!!! - Pecafan Fan
Why spend 2.5 hours watching a game when you can spend a couple of minutes and read the advanced stats the next day and know everything about how a player did. |

so hire assist. coaches with HC experience
whoever spewed the culture change crap.. Leiwike/Shan/Nonis ... should have just kept it shut.
after another disastrous collapse RC should have been fired. Fans have now gotten over it and are feeling all warm and fuzzy again. Come Oct full on blue goggles will be on.
I need to see results on the ice to be convinced that BS has done the right thing |

Honestly, I can't for the life of me understand why people REFUSE to see advanced stats just like every other stats. As a complement (and a deep one at that) to the game. People only try to find flaws in them instead of trying to find what value they hold... |
