BTW, wrist injuries are not a slight matter. There are 8 small bones and numerous ligaments that hold this Rubick's cube together. It probable he damaged some of the ligaments and cartilage. The options surgically are a partial fusion of some of the bones, a 'cleaning of debris out of the damaged area or an attempt at synthetic ligaments which are probably not strong enough for the forces a hockey player receives. I think this will be problematic for him for the remainder of his career and will eventually limit his shooting ability.

Eagles fan, eh? You out from our side of the state, or do they just happen to be the team you like?

Fastest player on the team. The new gibbons, but has some skill

I heard he is pretty fast but is really the fastest player on the team?

Lol I don't know. I'm hoping they saw something in him which made them sign him to his ELC

He looks like he has decent speed...something about the way he skates makes me think Malkin is someone he looks up to..and the leg lift on the goal celebrations...

dbell, when you go to the prospect scrimmage, can you please check out Jaden Lindo for me? Character issues aside, he's the newest Pens prospect that I'm irrationally excited about.

Those character issue kids are always the exciting ones. Hey, there's gotta be a reason why a kid has a tude, right?

I call it being a kid. When I was 18 I wasn't being drafted and I still thought my poop didn't stink. For me they are non issues until they are a little bit older

Blueger seems like a guy lost in the mix for being a 2nd rd pick. I never hear anything about him. Do you remember even seeing him last year?

FWIW Tiops has an article on his wrist. Said there's no structural damage. No ligament damage either. Says he's not happy that the info got leaked.

He's my boy. He spent last year with Minnesota State and had kind of a meh season I thought. He'll be back in the #CawlidgeHwaky scene this coming year. He could still pan out. Let's see how he does his junior and senior season before making judgements.

I'm about the furthest thing from an NBA fan, and indifferent about LeBron, but his announcement letter in SI was about as well done as something like that could possibly be. Definitely worth a read.

America loves to forgive. Pretty hard to still hate the guy (I never hated him, but I understood why people did, and I typically rooted against his team in the finals) after that letter.

I said when he went to Miami that one championship in Cleveland would be worth more than 10 championships in Miami. Seems like he understands that now.

I really can't fault him for the previous decision, even if he went about it in an obnoxious way. He had to secure a legacy as a great athlete by winning at least one championship. He doesn't deserve the rings any less for signing with other top flight talent at the time, that's just the NBA.

Honestly, you'd think he had Pronger's personality (maybe even meaner) with how people hate him.

So you are the Pierre McGuire on the NCAA guys?

I really hope he can turn into something. We've got a lot of these 2-4 round college kids. I'm just unguidedly optimistic that someone pans out and contributes soon.

Detroit now with interest in Mike Green. Come on, they've gotta overpay for Martin.

I know this means absolutely nothing. But I will be following this kid forever since I wanted him so bad at the draft.

I'm disappointed, no blog about the importance of leading the league in fighting majors and analytical proof to support it.
