So, Pittsburgh gets eliminated May 13 which is essentially two months ago and we have no resolution on this wrist problem of Sid's. What seems to be the problem? Is it the "medical group"? Someone needs to be blamed if he does miss some of the season. A two month delay is a joke really with no resolution. It's not like this happened 10 days ago, but almost 40 days ago.

He tried to heal it without surgery and it didn't work. So now, he's forced to have surgery. Which is what every player in sports will do.

Plus, to be frank about it, missing a few games in October, if that were to happen, doesn't really mean anything...

You keep saying this without understanding; all last season Crosby was matched up again the other teams top centers. Whether it be Bergeron, Toews, Backstrom, Kopitar, or Giroux and he still had the puck 60% of the time and put up 104 points. It's not that he had to shut down other players, or even compete with them. They had to fight to even get the puck never mind shut Crosby down.

It's one thing to be the best player in the NHL. It's another to be the best two way player. Which even though you claim that, I think that Toews and Bergeron might have a stake in the argument.

Let me help you out here. My statement was that Kopitar was one of the best two way players! NOT the best...

When a Crosby blog is written it's like leaving your trash out while camping. All the pests invade your site.

Um...seeing as you came on here just to restart this whole debate out of nowhere, I seriously doubt that.

Usually, when people say, "I have better things to do," they refrain from doing whatever it is they were doing, because, well, they have better things to do, so they go do those better things.

Yeah, I know. To sum up:

Since you have better things to do, go do them instead of trolling here.

Ryan should write a blog today on how the Pens should lead the league in fighting majors this season and play PL3 on the fourth line.
- Grinder47

I'm hoping PL3 leads the league in fighting majors......in the AHL.

Just thought about some newer faces that should be at development camp. Will be interesting to see Archibald, Rust, and Wilson. Not a snowballs chance they make the team this year but they have some potential down the road.

Oh and does Oskar Sundqvist make it over here for dev camp?

This whole thread started with your blogger whining about Crosby being injured and using TWO days to make excuses for his terrible play. I simply gave an answer to a question about who I would want to start a team with. You don't have to like my answer, or agree with it. It's not spouting hyperbole to simply state an opinion. Kopitar in my view has sacrificed a great deal for this concept we call "team" He's one of the most unselfish players in the league and exemplifies honor and humility. Perhaps these concepts are lost on you but that isn't my problem. Good day to you sir!

He's right you know. If we all get together and decide to start a bizzaro NHL and he gets the first overall pick, just let him make a mistake of Mike Milbury proportions and let him let Crosby fall down to me with the second pick. See you in the playoffs, arh. Hope your career as a GM is long and prosperous.

I haven't seen the roster, but is Zlobin there? From what I've heard, he's looking like a very nice find. Wonder how he'd stack up at prospect camp.

Don't you dare say that. Bryan Rust will make it out of camp and will be the face of the franchise in three years (says the current Notre Dame senior).

In Rust we trust.

As a hardcore, lifetime Flyers fan, if I'm starting a team and have the first pick of a forward, I'm going with Crosby 11 times out of 10. Because there is no other possibility. There just isn't.

Yea, but he's one Marc Staal cheapshot to the head away from (insert too many hits to the head/concussion joke here)

Actually Comeau is a pretty good hitter as well. He might help a little?
