That's pretty extreme. I think I'd rather suffer through another bad Isles trade than die in a fire! - UIF

Would anyone make this deal:
to NYI: E. Kane, Z Bogosian
to WPG: Grabner, Bailey, Strome, Mayfield, 2nd Rounder
Too much to give up? Not enough? |

I probably would but I really do like Strome and think he is going to be very good in this league for a long time but It would be hard to say no to that deal right now |

That's where I'm torn. I think Strome will be great. But the only way you get those guys is if some top prospects are in the deal and Strome makes the deal inticing to WPG. I don't know if WPG does that deal, maybe they do it for a swap of Nielsen for Bailey, but if that's the case then Strome is off the table for me. |

I'd do it but Winnepeg would want Reinhart than Mayfield |

Then its a no-go for me. I'm not interested in the Isles moving Reinhart for a players short of Shea Weber or Drew Doughy level. |

I heard that Dal Colle couldnt shot gun as many beers as some of the other camp invites. Kid is clearly a bust. I think we should look to trade him for a defensemen with 1 year left on his contract - latorrem1

i dont think the jets would do it, but either would i-- it just isnt necessary. we can get 1 top 4 dman for less than half of this and avoid feeling the after effects of this type of deal. |

as far as the prospect scrimmage, last year (I think it was last year) I was extremely impressed with Lee, his size and drive to the net (even in a scrimmage) was very noticeable, while Strome seemed slow and a bit weak. Strome seems to be coming along nicely but my initial impression of Lee seemed accurate. Goes to show it's just a very brief look at young prospects and things can change in a year. Strome looked many levels better when he came up the second time last year and I'm looking forward to watching him play this year.

Agreed, sure Leddy can put up good numbers playing for a possession monster of a team like the BHawks, but the Isles it'll be different. |

I really don't see how you have Hickey as a top 4 guy? This is the problem to me. I'd rather see strait play over Hickey, and even that isn't good enough.
I don't care about "corsi" crap. The Czuczman kid is very impressive as he has size and wheels. |
