But. His team only draws 8,000 fans and you're basically playing in the ice follies every night. All the KHL guys who crossed the pond this summer commented that what drew them over was how much more competetive the NHL is.

ORRRRRRR we can keep Reimer incase Bernier goes down again next season, for all we know we will be looking for another starter this year or next , Bernier isn't a sure thing yet. I'd rather have Reimer stay than bringing in someone like Khabibulnin or Vokoun who MIGHT have to play the bulk of games next season. |

He is the best, young, unsigned goalie out there and has already shown he can start in the NHL. Winnipeg is interested, but I would keep an eye on San Jose....
Has he proven he can start in the NHL??
If San Jose thought Niemi played bad last year, I can't wait to see the rude awakening if they sign Reimer who doesn't have a ounce of confidence. |
