It really would. Look how scary that line was with Vanek. Kane is more physical and gets more shots on goal. Imagine a player like Tavares setting him up? Or Okposo getting his rebounds? Also playing on such a talented line might actually humble the guy, and maybe he'll even learn to score with a bit of finesse and develop as an all around player.

I really doubt the Leafs get much for Reimer. He had one impressive season (a shortened season at that) and then he was usurped by Bernier.

Bernier would have usurped a good number of goalies with how he was playing last season (pre-injury). However, I think you're right. I don't think any goalie aside from the real big name goalies are going to return much in a trade. A 2nd would be an awesome return for Reimer I think, but wouldn't expect more than a 3rd.
