Might as well tank for both. Tank to ensure we get 1st or 2nd overall, trade that immature brat Giroux and his buddy Voracek for the other pick.
- jmatchett383

They should tank for the next 20 years so they can get 20 first overall picks and have a team filled with first overalls! HAZAHH!

I'll post this again in Bills new blog once it goes up. I had no idea Luke Schenn played the least amount of minutes per night of any D man (including Mez and Gus). Did everyone else know this and I'm just clueless? Is there any chance he makes a comeback, is traded for value, or the Leafs just give back JVR due to pity. I thought Luke had a better season then playing the least amount of minutes on the team, seems Berube has no confidence in him.

There was a lot of talk about Luke Schenn's ice time once Berube took over.

I vaguely recall that LSchenn was a healthy scratch at times.

Yes, I remember the healthy scratches but thought they were to infuse more offence. What a sad state of affairs. That deal looks horrendous.

He was not well received by Chief because he was out of shape. But, in the playoffs, he was arguably their best defenseman.

He was in the doghouse very early on. Berube seems to have a particular dislike for Luke. I think he came into camp in bad shape.

Blue Jackets make long term commitment to Brandon Dubinsky. 6 year deal at $5.85 AAV. NMC/NTC included in deal per Pierre Lebrun. #CBJs

If he was traded today, what do you think his value would be in terms of a draft puck? Open ended question for everyone. Note I am not proposing reading him for picks, just curious on his value.

Off the top of my head, that seems kinda high, both in term and dollar figures.

If Giroux gets injured, it's a distinct possibility.

Seeing as Brooks Orpik commanded a 5-year, $5.25M contract, we should be able to flip him for about 7 1st round picks.

I'm really not sure. I imagine he's a polarizing player. Probably a wide range of offers. I think the best offer may be 2 2nds.
