Always loved Dubi kicking Mike Richards' a$$.

The contract he just signed is a tad over-the-top in dollars for Dubi. Let's hope CBJ fans want him traded back to NYR next year.

It really does suck losing Dubi and Cally. Kinda reminds me back in 94 when they traded Weight and Amonte. It paid off that year, but fell short this season. Now I totally dread those deals. Don't get me wrong, I like Nash and MSL, but I surely liked Dubi and Cally way more as they were homegrown guys that brought tons of identity to the team.

I wish them both the best; though, wish they were both still here.

lots of NYR fans hated Dubinsky, I think it's safe to say 100% of the Blue Jackets fanbase loves him. He'll be there forever.

Yea this.

I was a big dubi and cally fan but they were the centerpieces that got us nash and MSL. The skill level and goal scoring ability between the players we got and them is massive.

I love MSL

I think one of the most overlooked things is that we are going to have him for a full season this year and he just won the Art Ross last year.

He was dominant at times for Tampa this past season with Stamkos out and I would definitely count on him for 70 plus points

Yea I remember me & you at times being the only guys it seemed that had Dubi's back in here, especially when the MSG steamrolling machine stuck it to him in that holdout situation to start that 1 yr.

I can't believe the money the league is handing out to ex Rangers this offseason, not one of these contracts is an underpayment or a bargain, sorry but I did like Dubi to an extent, he never lived up to his capabilities and is not close to a $6 mil a year player, same as Cally they just don't produce on that level no matter the intangibles, I hate that these guys were the cornerstones of a generational rebuild and they're not here anymore but for that money I can't blame management, what's funny is these are the guys Rangers fans took hits for building them up to be better players than they were and now they're being paid like it

Plus MSL is a hell of a recruiter. The main reason why Boyle took less to sign with us. Last year was a huge mental grind for MSL. I really think that factored into his lack of production down the stretch, not so much his age. Now that he is comfortable and has time to clear his head and relax a bit, he should be his old self next year on the ice.

Happy birthday Jimbo

I don't think we see any more roster moves until we find out how much cap space the RFAs are gonna be taking up. Then I see a trade in the works.

I agree, I can see him & Nash scoring in bunches, maybe 40 goals each? It can happen.

Sucks the preaseason is still 2 months away...I can't wait for next season. Some of the young kids are gonna get a chance, while players like Stepan, Kreider, McDonagh, and Zucc have a chance to take the league by storm and push for all star spots. It is gonna be fun.

I can't wait either, but it was so emotionally draining I kind of need the summer rest anyway, haha. I don't follow base a ball so summer is my off season for sports. Soon enough football camps open & of course the real deal when hockey starts.

Guess it time to say it, been going on a while but I HATE talking about it, am actually separated from Wife. She's there w the kids, Im somewhere else, see em on weekends. Don't want to make a big thing of it but I know a lot of guys on here know me well from facebook & I NEVER mention it there. Its just a personal thing, am only comfortable talking about it w a very few people. Tough but it is what it is.

That was the only era of horror I ever got into. The 80s produced some absolute schlock straight to video crap but its fun to have a laugh with. I'm remembering being 10 or 11 yrs old, up late at night sneaking into the living room at my parents & turning on Cinemax for either some cheap skin a max porn or cheesy horror flicks.

Yea it is my favorite genre. You are right it can be quite cheesy at times, but also at the same time disturbing and amazing haha
