Paajarvi? Not great competition. I remember when they drafted Loov, Morrison joked that his height listed in the program was 5'9" when he's really 6'3". That's quite a discrepancy if that's true.

Lindholm
Wennberg
Burakovsky
Forsberg
Landeskog
Zibanejejajabddajjdad
Punjabi-Svensson
Josefsson
Johansson

Interesting thing is that other than Burakovsky and Paajarvi, every other Swede is prized for their two-way ability.

Biggs has all the tools to develop into a dangerous power forward at the NHL level, but will have to find another gear in his skating, less coasting and maintain a higher level of overall intensity to his game on nightly basis if the Milan Lucic comparisons are to have merit. No reason not to be patient as most power forwards take a while to realize their potential.

I hope he turns into something. It's all on him now to want it badly enough.

They were going back to Backstrom.

So, Lindholm, Forsberg, Zibanejad, MPS, Eller.

Not bad names, but I see your point.

Some were also comparing his skill level to Forsberg#1. Not his overall game, obviously, just skill level.

I find the Europeans on hfboards tend to overrate their guys though.

My proposal was our 1st, Reimer, Franson, and Leivo.

People don't think it's enough.

I wouldn't pay more if I were the Leafs, so I'm ok with not getting him

- Feeling Glucky?

That's fair- maybe too much.

Remember the Kessel Deal?
Kessel was traded and signed for $5mm per for 5 years for the famous 2 1st and a 2nd. The firsts were expected to be mid round first at the time of the deal. I don't think Kane is as good as Kessel but they both had "baggage" and Kane is only signed for 4 years.

So I see Reimer as a 3rd, Franson (remember Gorges deal) a 2nd, Leivo about a 2nd (maybe more), and of course the 1st you offered (I'd make it 2016.) So it's fair value- but does it address what Winnipeg wants in terms of parts?

I never knew Carl was a 7th round pick for us in 07.

Good on us. Looks like late rounds are starting to work out for us. Loov looks good to.

This is needed since we give away our top picks for junk.

You would totally regret saying that if the Leafs got him. I have absolutely no idea why people talk about him as a possible trade scenario. He's not that good and doesn't get along with coaches because of his ego.. (frank) him. Stay in Winnipeg you goof.
