Some players, for some reason, aren't all that good in the AHL and put good numbers in the NHL. And some are GREAT in the AHL and never amount to anything in the NHL.

agreed, they already stated they want to try to recapture the chemistry he and Kadri had (AHL and somewhat briefly in NHL)

Maybe because the AHL is more of a grinders league and (some of) the more talented guys aren't well suited for that type of game and fare better with more talented NHL players. I don't know...
