If the Avs do slide back this year, as has been suggested by corsi, they will claim that as a victory... but losing stastny is a pretty big hole to fill.

would not at all shock me to see him return to 25-30 goal form if he gets any significant time with a guy like Getzlaf. he's a good fit there. and Heatley never would have played in Canada. just another in a long line...

in fairness, the advanced stats guys were crapping on the Avs all year and they predicted a quick flameout for them in the the playoffs.
