I remember eating at the one in Port Credit after playing hockey in the arena nearby. |

lobster poutine man. - zazzle
See...I'm the kind of guy who would consider that a bit of a travesty. Not giving the lobster the cred it deserves, and (frank)en with my poutine at the same time. |

What happened with The Pens is very different from this scenario. Regarding the cap, yes, that is similar. Otherwise much different. - A_Tree
Crosby>Toews
Malkin>Kane
It will be even harder for Chicago to win than it was for Pitt. |

Bacon poutine. That is it.
I've got the meat special one.. It was too much.
Some bacon bits to go with my gravy fries and curd. Perfecto. |

6x4 would probably do it.
Everyone is expecting him to get 2x3 right now. So we lose 2m over 2 years to save, probably at least 4m over the next 4, more if he has two seasons like he just did + plus more playing time = even more points.
I think Gardiner will be a stud. |

So now Chicago is over the cap by 2mil and Philly is over by 3.
Who goes from each? Bickell? Read? Simmonds? Buyouts? |

Toews deserves it.. Kane not so much. Spending that much on two players is risky.. See Pittsburgh.. - Arctic_AARDVARK
Kane won a Conn Smythe and usually leads the team in scoring. They both deserved it.
As for Pittsburgh, I think if Crosby and Malkin were healthy in previous years, they would have at least one more Cup and probably have at least one more Cup in their future.
All of these guys are easily top 10 if not top 5 if not the best player in the league at any given time. If you don't pony up and pay these guys, who are you going to pay? |

What these contracts do for Chicago is next year test why they are good.
Is it because of Toews and Kane? Or because of their Top 4 of Keith/Seabrook and Hjal/Oduya, both later halves who will likely be gone. |

I disagree.
I believe toews to be the best all round player in the league.
But if Crosby were signing a deal after bringing two cups to the team, it would be for the same amount of cash |

I could easily think of 10 players better than Kane. Toews deserves it, but I don't think Kane does.. Just my opinion. |

Except of course he isn't. He's been prone to youth related giveaways and poor decisions, which is totally normal.
The year he has this upcoming season, if we don't give him more than a bridge, will make every single person here wish we had. Book it. |

Philly will get rid of Vinnie eventually. Simmonds? not in a million years. Bickell to FLA. |
