If there was no cap sure.. Watch, you'll see that Toews and Kand can't do it all w/o the support players. When Pitt won everyone thought it would be cup after cup, but that wasn't the case because they had no depth.. Kunitz, Neal, and Letang are all good players, but it's pretty thin beyond that.

Toews/Kane and soon to be Subban's contracts give new meaning to how we've perceived Kessel's and Phaneuf's.

Just wait until next offseason when the cap is 74-75m and talk of 2016 is roughly 80m.

IMO, the Leafs need to offer Gardiner 6x4.5m and don't even blink twice.
