Heard today that Fram was invited to regular camp. Right shot D had a decent season in production but went undrafted. I think he is 6'0 185ish

We can only hope we get him under contract then he goes and improves his game in the KHL, comes back and eventually becomes captain.

Edit: Who am I kidding lightning never strikes in the same place twice

I really like kulak,I think we could be seeing him near the end of the year similar to wotherspoon, gotta feel for sieloff too still can't take part in contact and apparently got hit in the ankle with a puck during a drill

Heard the ankle shot was just a stinger, no need for concern.

So as many people are saying that Bennett should be sent down, mostly sounds like going back to his OHL team.
Made me wonder why not the AHL? What are the rules for that?
wouldn't getting lots of playing time at a professional level playing against men be more beneficial?

The OHL and the NHL have an agreement that a player has to be a certain age to play in the AHL, that way the CHL doesn't lose all their players to the AHL, that's why guys like kanzig are going back to WHL

Me too, So which of the kids will be playing with the big boys next year? I have not followed the guys in Jr, and did not get to see the camp. Who gets 9 games….who stays???

I think BBBT brought in all the truculence so that the youngens feel a little safer on the ice. Should be entertaining.

sorry I remember asking about CHL vs CJHL in a previous thread but don't recall getting an answer
we drafted a kid from the AJHL this year and wondering is it at all equivalent to the WHL/OHL/QMJHL?

Equivalent? No. If anything it's somewhat of a feeder to the WHL/OHL/QMJHL.

I think it's considered Junior 'A' so a step below.

So Ek has the Flames and LEafs in on making a big push for ROR? I hope either one does it. They would regret it. Talk about an over rated player.

Heard something along the lines of Eberle for ROR. You guys could use a decent possession player.

well what are people's thoughts on picking Brandon Hickey from the AJHL?
heard he looked pretty good at development camp, but his stats in Junior A weren't anything amazing given there were still lots of quality CHL prospects still available...
if it's a step below, how can you justify ever picking a CJHL player over a CHL player?
