He's gonna be a backup as long as he's leaf property ..He filed for arbitration that signed his faith as a leaf for this year...When that arbitration award comes in the 3mil range there no way the leafs will be able to move him..

If he wanted out he should have taken a pay cut than maybe someone would have taken a shot at him..

Maybe..

@3mil...Not a chance..

if you don't elect for arbitration after you've been qualified, what happens?

over 3.5M, they can
- Feeling Glucky?

So, just make sure that he gets awarded more than 3.5. Easy peasy..

If anyone knows of someone who has a large box big enough for both Franson and Clarkson, now would be the time to speak up....

I was thinking more along the lines of bribing the arbitrators, for the 3.5 decision.

He could have accepted qualifying offer or worked on a contract/held out until trade..

Holding out is what he should have done if he really wanted to be traded....

Then bye bye Reimer.... if they make an attempt to move him and can't work out a deal and let him walk what's really the downside here? What did they lose like a 4th round draft pick? i think Reimer on this team next season does more damage than losing out on a 4th rounder.

On the flip side Reimer is a fantastic goalie to have if you want to poop the bed and get a top 3 pick.

based on the games i attended during the marlies playoff run.... i don't want or think granberg makes this team.
it's a kotska 2.0 error. playing a guy way over his head because you think there isnt a better option.

- Rockhead_37

I believe you should have paid closer attention, everyone in the Marlies organization said he was their best defender, watching all the games televised and attending one, I tend to agree, by far the best during the playoffs.
