why should he. He has better numbers than many starters.
People assume Bernier will put up the same numbers next season.

based on the games i attended during the marlies playoff run.... i don't want or think granberg makes this team.
it's a kotska 2.0 error. playing a guy way over his head because you think there isnt a better option.

Someone will bite for Franson...Reimer i'm not so sure about, if only because I dont think he's garnered much attention. - Colin Dambrauskas
Injuries will be a friend to Nonis.. once a few goalies go down Reimer will be in demand. Hoping the few starts he gets at the beginning of the season are good ones and has a good training camp.
Once the first few teams aren't getting as many pts from their bluelines as they think they need.. Franson will become very tradable. |

I was talking about how i expected Gards to be on that pair, and how I hoped that they didn't do the Kostka/Aulie/Holzer mistake of putting Granberg there.
Frenchies comment about playoffs was timely in that I was still in the zone.
It's still morning, folks. Bear with me

First year as a full time starter - I expect him to get better. Just eliminating some of those really bad goals would be good.
My point was - Carlyle has chosen Bernier as the #1. All Reimer can do is try to win that job back - which he couldn't do last year, or accept his fate as a backup on this team and make the best of it. |

So did Nonis last summer...Thats why they traded for him...Reimer not so bright if he didn't know he was the backup headed into last season... |

He's an alright 7th man. But if we can't unload Franson, Percy might be the better option because of the abundance of right-side Dmen (can't believe I'm saying that) |

He's gonna be a backup as long as he's leaf property ..He filed for arbitration that signed his faith as a leaf for this year...When that arbitration award comes in the 3mil range there no way the leafs will be able to move him..
If he wanted out he should have taken a pay cut than maybe someone would have taken a shot at him..
Maybe..
@3mil...Not a chance..

No he doesn't, nor should he, but reality is just that on this team.
The league doesn't seem to be embracing him as a starter either, or he'd be on someone's radar by now I would think. Heck, even Scrivens took over the #1 at the worlds - right or wrong. |
