even if Pacioretty is soft, he's still a big body. so he's not going to wear down, he's harder to knock off the puck and when he does decide to drive the net, he is a load to handle. you don't have to play like Gallagher to use size to your advantage. same with a guy like JVR. soft a poop but his size still helps him be a better player.

I never said that and also totally agree with you. Probably why Gionta and Brière are gone. As for Pacioretty, if he keeps scoring 35+ goals a year i will be fine with him. This line really needed a physical RW who can score; Parenteau isn't the answer.
