Poile has to make a move now. He can't afford another debacle of a season. While Jarnkrok should be improved, and Wilson is a natural center, neither is the answer right now. If we do go into the season, as someone said, with jokinen/ Cullen as our top two, we're screwed.

Nashville C Mike Fisher out the next 4-6 months with ruptured achilies? Well that certainly makes it more possible for a Lecavalier trade now. Is Colon Wilson their number 1 center now 11g-22a-33pts? He's more effective on the LW from what I've seen anyways. How about Jokinen 18g-25a-43pts? How about Gaustad? Lol. 10g-12a-22pts. I'd take Lecavalier over all of them. Nashville should be thankful the Flyers are trying to get rid of him. Not sure why Nashville is playing hardball when they don't attract free agents because nobody wants to play there and they've had a horrible offense for years.

Because Flyers are 3 million over the salary cap. Why would Predators help the team that offer sheeted Shea Weber out of it's cap crisis unless it's anything than a total win for them? Especially with Mike Riberio, who outscored Lecavalier each of the last 4 seasons and overall since 07, out there for them to just pick up as a UFA?

There's a good chance second to last in the Central could have 90 pts and right in the playoff hunt. With that said, I think we barely make the playoffs ahead of Colorado. St. Louis, Chicago, Dallas will take the top 3 with Minny and Preds getting Wild Cards.

I just don't see the preds icing a team better than that. Sure, we had a miraculous season and varlamov will likely regress from last seasons numbers. (although there is something to be said for having one of the greatest tenders of all time being your coach) But players like ROR-Duchene-Mackinnon-Landeskog-Johnson-Barrie are only going to get better.

No chance this preds team tops the avs in my opinion. (especially without Fisher for 20 or so games)

I think the Avs will regress from last year, but they will still be at least 8+ pts ahead of NSH.
