Bailey & grabs have to be the 2 biggest underachievers, currently. If we could trade just Bailey for anyone of value, I would be impressed. But my gut tells me it will take more. Bailey/Grabs or Bailey/Neilsen or Bailey/Donovan for a top 2 Dman is totally worth it.

I don't see the damage there....that's a pretty low risk for a talented yet underachieving young player. You know him better than I do, could he hold his own and be somewhat productive between ,say, a David Perron and ted Purcell?

I would package him out or keep him for the 4th line. Hes still a good pker

he'll be better on a different team & scenario but bc he hasn't been consistent enough, wouldn't fetch a 1st pick but a 2nd + could be a nice deal.
Bailey will prob do well w/Oilers, just not a fit here... to me, its like a Turris situation...

His possession numbers are actually surprisingly strong. He's not putting up points like you would hope a top-10 pick would but he plays against top competition and the team is still driving the play towards the net while he's on the ice.

It's a fair offer but I think we are looking more towards immediate help for the defense. I don't know if EDM could make that work. Petry for Bailey swap?

No thanks...Petry is a legit top 4 D-man on most teams overworked on our top pair. Not over valuing Petry, but he should go for a legit top 60 Center.
